Homemade Microwave Popcorn

I don't know why this never occured to me before! But just the other day I stumbled across this idea at Make & Takes...Which is an awesome blog, by the way. In case you're like me and dream of having time to just read blogs all day :)

A brown paper lunch sack and 1/4 cup popcorn kernels

Fold the end over a couple times and tape down.
Microwave (folded side up) for 2 to 3 minutes...or until there is 5 seconds between pops

And then ENJOY!!!

How easy is that?! You save $ on popcorn/packaging, and you provide you family with a healthy low (or no) sodium snack!

Now why didn't I think of that? I can get rid of my air popper that won't fit in the cabinet right (and that likes to shoot popcorn across the room when I'm not looking). Thanks for the tip!

If you're interested in baking bread in your crockpot, come check out my WFMW post: http://homeschoolheartandmind.blogspot.com/2010/06/wfmw-crockpot-sourdough-bread.html
